1. No Data Collection Policy
Alfath operates 100% offline. We do not have a backend server, and we do not collect, transmit, sell, or store any of your personal data externally. All user preferences, daily goals, reading progress, and settings are saved strictly locally on your device using local databases. Your data never leaves your device.
2. Use of Location Data
Alfath requests location permissions (both Foreground and Background) solely to calculate highly accurate prayer times and determine the Qibla direction locally on your device.
- Local Processing: Your location data is processed entirely on your device.
- No Transmission: We never transmit, store, or share your location data with any servers or third parties.
- Background Location: Background access may be required to keep prayer time notifications accurate as you travel, but this information remains strictly on your device.
3. Device Sensors and Notifications
The App utilizes your device's sensors (accelerometer and magnetometer) strictly to power the Qibla compass functionality. Additionally, Alfath uses purely local notifications (scheduled on your device itself) to alert you about prayer times (Adhan) and daily Adhkar (morning, evening, sleep). We do not use remote push notifications.
4. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising
Alfath is completely ad-free and tracker-free. We do not include any third-party advertising SDKs (such as AdMob) and we do not use tracking analytics (such as Firebase Analytics). Your activity within the app remains private and unmonitored.
5. Children's Privacy
As an educational and religious tool, Alfath is designed to be safe for all ages. We strictly comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and Google Play's Family policies by ensuring that no personal data is collected from anyone, including children.
6. Data Security
Because all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data relies on the security of your device. We recommend keeping your device protected with a password, PIN, or biometric security.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app or legal requirements. Any updates will be reflected within the app and on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

2. "As Is" Provision and Warranties
Alfath is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide highly precise prayer calculations and Qibla directions, variations can occur based on geography, calculation methods, and device sensor calibration.Users are advised to verify prayer times and Qibla direction independently. We are not liable for any discrepancies.
3. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights, including the app's design, code, graphics, and original content, are the exclusive property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without our explicit written permission.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Alfath solely for its intended personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable local or international laws.
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's standard functionality.
